NA Prep AA/AAA Hockey

NA PREP'S AA/AAA TEAM PLAN and VISION

Attention: Montana Hockey Families, Tier AA/AAA hockey development, has finally come to Montana for regular in-season play. North American Prep is proud to announce their partnership with the Premier Hockey League (PHL), in the effort to give your player the ultimate developmental experience.

Before we begin, let's discuss the big elephant in the room, COVID-19 and the Border. NA Prep has formulated two different season plans (Plan A and Plan B), in the event the borders do not open up.

PLAN A

Currently, NA Prep has signed up three teams (U10, U12, and U14) in the Premier Hockey League (PHL) out of Lethbridge, Alberta, this upcoming 2020-2021 season. Our majority of games will be played in Canada. One weekend out of each month, NA Prep teams will participate in a league series tournament where each team will play 4-5 league games. Practices will be held in Butte every weekend (Saturday or Sunday). NA Prep will also participate in an additional 3-4 tournaments. This schedule will allow players to play in 30-40 games this season and the freedom to focus on school. NA Prep's new season schedule will be less intrusive on your player's academic schedule and allow for more quality family time. In addition, the U14 age division will have the opportunity to attend the USA Hockey Nationals this season.

PLAN B

In the event, the borders do not open or are closed during the season, NA Prep has two possible scenarios.

A) The PHL has offered to allow NA Prep to makeup any games canceled due to border closings. Upon reopening on the borders, NA Prep will play all makeup games. This option will require flexibility among our teams, and organization, we should anticipate possible multi-week travel to participate.

B) NA Prep has put together a similar travel schedule to the PHL and will compete in the necessary number of USA sanctioned tournaments to meet our 30-40 games objective for the 2020-2021 season. Tournaments that NA Prep attends will be held in the surrounding area (example: Idaho, Utah, Montana, Las Vegas, Colorado, California) in the US.

COVID REFUND POLICY FOR THE 2020-21 SEASON
